This place is an underrated destination of Kanchanaburi. If you’re into war history, do consider visiting it to learn more about the history of WWII. Walk the 3km trail along the original Death Railway and see in person the challenges faced by the POW.
Hellfire Pass is the name of a railway cutting on the former Burma Railway. The pass was constructed during the WWII using Allied POW labor to cut through the mountain; to build the Death Railway (Burma-Thailand railway).
