Sukhothai

Sukhothai was the capital of the first Kingdom of Siam in the 13th & 14th centuries. Situated in the lower northern region of Thailand; Sukhothai; Si Satchanalai and Kamphaeng Phetit has a number of fine monuments, illustrating the beginnings of Thai architecture. The site of Sukhothai and Associated Towns was inscribed onto the World Heritage List in 1991 and is one of Thailand's five World Heritage sites.

Pai; Mae Hong Son

Pai, in Mae Hong Son province is a charismatic; off beaten path town in the valley that requires a strong stomach to withstand the motion sickness as the car challenge the thousands of curves en-route from Chiang Mai.

Bordering Myanmar, Mae Hong Son is the most mountainous province in Thailand that is still underdeveloped & you’ll be treated to slow life and cultures influenced by Myanmar.

Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai, the northernmost province of Thailand with valuable Lanna Culture; where the mountains meet the Mekong River and the three countries of Thailand, Laos, & Myanmar converge and meet in the infamous Golden Triangle.

Here, you will find the famous White Temple, Blue Temple & the Black House designed in such intrigued designs that leaves you spell-bounded & bewildered perhaps.

Nan & Beyond the North

Nan, for centuries, used to be an independent kingdom called Nanthaburi & was left isolated for most of its existence until it’s incorporated into the kingdoms of Lanna & Burmese. Moving forward, Nan gained sovereignty in the 18th Century & became a semi-autonomous kingdom to Siam & fully incorporated into Thailand in 1931. Today, Nan is getting popular among travelers who are looking to go beyond Chiang Mai & explore the deeper north of Thailand.
