Sukhothai
Indulge yourself with ruins & temples of the impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sukhothai Historical Park. The park came lively in the night and especially during the Loy Krathong Festival; it’s a beautiful sight to behold!
Also, do visit the nearby Si Satchanalai Historical Park for more ruins & ancient temples and lastly, drop by Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park for a peaceful, tranquility stroll.
Si Satchanalai Historical Park
Those who loves ruins are in for a treat with the impressive collection of temples in this park.
Wat Chang Lom, which was built in the 14th century in the centre of the historic town is a must visit site.
This historical park is easily accessible with the rental bicycle and the vast forestry makes the visit very enjoyable.
Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park
Another beautiful archaeological site of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Historic Town of Sukhothai and Associated Historic Towns. This park is not touristy and hence, it’s very tranquil in here and one could really enjoy the two sites peacefully with the downtown of few structures and a forest area north about 3.5km out of town.
